Baylee Zwart, founder of Azlee, designed the brand in her Santa Monica atelier as a reflection of her personal and professional journey. Raised between Colorado and California, her early interest in photography led to a fashion career, which eventually took her to Guatemala, where she discovered a passion for metalworking. Inspired by the natural beauty of Lake Atitlan, she began incorporating the landscape’s geometry, light, and fluidity into her jewelry designs. Upon returning to the U.S., Zwart committed to sustainability, blending design with environmental responsibility. A portion of every Azlee sale supports marine conservation, a cause close to her heart as an avid surfer and scuba diver.
